Abdellatif Benjelloun Touimi is a digital technology expert, manager, and strategist. He was till recently a Senior Manager responsible for AI, Big Data, Cloud, and Multimedia areas within the Corporate Standards Department of Huawei Technologies (UK). He was involved in different organizations (ISO/IEC JTC 1, ETSI, ITU-T) and participated in different AI standardization and policy groups, including the ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 42 on AI and CEN/CENELEC Focus Group on AI. Abdellatif was the chair of the Standardization group within the Big Data Value Association and contributed to the setup of the “European Partnership in AI, Data and Robotics”. In a previous career,he was with Orange Labs where he conducted research on Multimedia and Cloud Computing and participated in different national and European projects. Abdellatif received a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from Télécom Paris, France, and an M.B.A. from University of Chicago, USA. He holds 14 patents and authored several publications.
