Dr Xiaohui Zhao is a Senior Lecturer in information technology at Federation University Australia. Dr Zhao’s primary research interest is in business process management, particularly integrating situational awareness and data analytics into business process management. Xiaohui has published over 50 refereed academic papers for reputed journals and conferences. He has successfully attained research grants from the Ministry of Science and Innovation in New Zealand, and the Department of Education and Training and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Australia. Xiaohui received his PhD in IT from Swinburne University of Technology in 2007. Previously, he has been a Research Fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, Lecturer at the Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand and Assistant Professor at the University of Canberra
